Tithi and Ekadashi depend on sunrise at a particular place. Printed Gujarati calendars are usually made for Ahmedabad or Mumbai, so a family in New Jersey or London can be a day apart. Choose your own city in Settings. Some festivals also follow local or sampradaya customs; when in doubt, follow your temple or family tradition.

Open Settings → City and pick the closest city. All dates, Parana times and choghadiya update immediately, and times are shown in that city's local time.

Most households follow Smarta: you fast on the day Ekadashi prevails at sunrise. Vaishnava (ISKCON, Pushtimarg) requires Ekadashi to be free of Dashami at arunodaya, 96 minutes before sunrise, so occasionally the fast moves one day later. The two usually agree; Divo explains the reason whenever they differ.

Parana is breaking the fast. It is done after sunrise on the next day, within Dwadashi and after Hari Vasara (the first quarter of Dwadashi). Divo shows the preferred early-morning window.

Check that notifications are allowed for Divo in the iPhone Settings → Notifications → Divo, and that the reminders you want are on in Divo's Settings. Open Divo once in a while: reminders are scheduled a few months ahead each time the app opens.

Widgets use the city chosen in the app. After changing it, the widget refreshes within a few minutes. If it doesn't, remove the widget and add it again.

Purchases are tied to your Apple Account. Use Restore Purchases in Divo's Settings on a new device. To cancel, open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Divo. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
